Eliminating Intolerance Through Peaceful Dialogue <—- Click Here for Interview
SAN ANTONIO — People of all faiths joined together this evening to talk about ways to curb religious intolerance.
It took place at the dialogue institute on the North Side. Christians, Muslims and Jews were represented on the panel. Participants believe it’s important to share in each other’s cultures and faiths rather than to point out the differences.
“San Antonio is a very integrated society. It’s very cosmopolitan,” explained guest speaker Carlo Nino. “So we’re not just homogenous, we have a lot of different cultures and it’s important for us to come and have that dialogue.”
Nino says topics like immigration, refugees and the election cycle all sparked the need for this faith-based dialogue.
